Dollar, the latest Arab series on Netflix that will be worth gold

After Jinn, Netflix continues to expand its Arab series catalogue with the arrival on August 8 of “Dollar”, a Lebanese series brought to the screen by Adel Karam and Amal Bouchoucha, stars in the land of Cedars.

Starting August 8, Netflix users will see the platform’s catalog expanded with the arrival of a new Arab series, “Dollar”. Comprising 15 episodes and subtitled in 20 different languages, the Lebanese series “Dollar” confirms Netflix’s tendency in recent years to highlight Arab thrillers such as the Jordanian series “Jinn” and the first Egyptian drama proposed by the American giant “Paranormal”.

The series produced by Cedars Art Production – Sabbah Brothers, written by Hisham Hilal and directed by Samer Berkawi, offers an attractive cast thanks to actors Adel Karam, a Lebanese celebrity nominated for an Oscar in 2018 and Amal Bouchoucha an Algerian-Lebanese actor.

“I am really excited to be working with Netflix on our new “Dollar” series and I am confident that the show will attract Netflix audiences around the world. This exciting project brings together themes of suspense and drama highlighting Amal Bouchoucha’s on-screen talents, as well as Adel Karam’s versatility beyond the comedy for which he is known and appreciated”
