The Bad Boys are back, directed by a Moroccan duo.

15 years after the second Bad Boys movie starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, a third chapter is set for January 2020, and will be directed by Moroccan filmmakers Bilal Fallah and Adil El Arbi. The news was revealed by Will Smith on Instagram.

Two “directors to watch”

El Arbi and Fallah aren’t beginners in the movie business. Known for Image (2014), Noir (2016) and Gangsta (2018), the two filmmakers were named among the “directors to watch” by Variety magazine.

The Bad Boys saga began in 1995 with the adventures of a police duo in Miami played by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The two first chapters were then directed by famous action movie director Michael Bay. Bilall Fallah et Adil El Arbi will be shooting one the most iconic action comedy blockbuster.
