Moreover, to the delight of fans, a small competition had slipped into the big one: that of the most beautiful goal.

It is a duel 100% Egyptian, and even 100% Cairo, attended by aficionados of African soccer in the final of the CAF, the equivalent of the UEFA Champions League. In the left corner, Al-Ahly sporting club, leader of the Egyptian championship, 9 victories in the competition and simply one of the most titled clubs in the world. Opposite, the Zamalek sporting club, which is 6 places behind its counterpart in Cairo, and which was eager to grab a 6th victory in the final of this African Champions League.

No feat but a show

It is finally the club of Al-Alhy that won against its rival, by a score of 2 goals to 1, at the end of a spectacular match, where the two most beautiful goals of the tournament were scored.

Indeed, for the majority (52.5%) of the 1.2 million voters, it is the winning goal of Mohamed Magdy, scored at the end of the match, which deserves the palm of the most beautiful goal of the competition. He thus wins in front of the goal of the equalization, scored earlier in the game by Mahmoud Shikabala, a curling shot from the left released at the end of a festival on the right wing, which ends its run in the opposite corner.

And you, which would you have chosen, the goal of hope or the goal of victory?
