Fashion: a limited series of Drake’s OVO brand pays homage to Lebanon

The clothing brand OVO, created by Canadian rapper Drake, has just released a limited series in support of the victims of the explosion that occurred on August 4th in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Many rappers, singers, athletes, and other non-fashion personalities have launched their brand of clothing, shoes, perfume, or lingerie. But few of them can claim a real commitment, a real humanitarian dimension. This is the case of Drake, with its brand OVO, which has just dedicated a series to the victims of the Beirut explosion.

The colors and the symbol

The clothes will be launched exclusively online today and all profits will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross. The new hooded sweatshirts are available in black and red, while the t-shirts are available in white and black. All pieces bear the distinctive OVO label, with the Lebanese flag integrated into the owl’s wing.

Let’s recall that the team that supervises the global star is deeply attached to Lebanon since his manager is none other than Oliver El-Khatib, and his producer Noah “40” Shebib, and they are both … Lebanese-Canadian.
