Jeddah celebrates Valentine’s Day with paintings
This February 14, the Art Space Center in Jeddah is setting up a workshop for couples who wish to celebrate Valentine’s Day in an original and artistic way.
The large workshop in Jeddah has opened its doors to welcome lovers on this holiday of love. The activity of the day provides for the realization of a diptych painting in which each part is the work of one of the two partners. The two canvases assembled remain unique, while forming a complementary and harmonious whole, like a symbolism in the image of the painters’ couples.
A workshop of sharing and a souvenir as a bonus
Afrah Mohammad, the center’s business development manager, explains the reasoning behind this promotion. The Valentine’s Day workshop is both a time to share and an opportunity to express love, but also to keep an indelible memory of this festival of love.
He explains that the important thing is not the quality or beauty of the painting, but the entertaining and spontaneous production. According to him, art allows one to “discover the way energies intertwine through colors, shapes and lines.”
So the Art Space Center’s workshop offers a sweet moment for the couples’ or art lovers’ party, to be shared by two. And the idea can be replicated at home!
