Lebanese dancers triumph on America’s Got Talent
A group of Lebanese dancers called “Mayyas” has burst the screen during its passage in America’s Got Talent.
They were the stars of the semi-final of America’s Got Talent and will be featured in the final next week. “Mayyas”, the group of 36 Lebanese dancers led by choreographer Nadim Cherfan, has talent in spades.
With a brilliant number of impressive accuracy and hypnotizing fluidity, the dancers have conquered the jury, live audience, and viewers. They not only won their place in the final but also received a standing ovation from the jurors, like Simon Cowell and Sofia Vergara.
The road is still long
Of course, the level of the competition will be high in the final, since only the very best candidates will remain. “The pressure to come is even greater”, admitted Nadim Cherfan, in a first reaction on the LBCI channel, after the qualification of the troop. “Simon Cowell even told me: I would have liked to be as talented as you,” added the choreographer.
A victory that went viral on social media in Lebanon, and everywhere else in the world.
