Music: poignant collab between Ibrahim Maalouf and Sharon Stone
The American actress Sharon Stone joined the French-Lebanese trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf to put his voice on the track Our Flag.
The clip was released this week. A clip composed of a tangle of strong societal and environmental images, a kind of fresco of the modern world, accompanied by music composed by the Franco-Lebanese jazzman Ibrahim Maalouf and … the voice of Sharon Stone.
Indeed, around halfway through the video, the legendary Hollywood actress appears cross-legged in the middle of what seems to be her living room and spouts a text -written by her- very critical of what seems to be a national leader. Impossible to say if it is the one currently in place, but no doubt about the resentment of the actress, in tears, towards the interlocutor.
The video, which lasts a little over 6 minutes, was directed by the French Nicolas Tussing, who has also collaborated with Mathieu Chedid. On YouTube, it has already collected a little over 240,000 views in just 4 days.
