Ramadan: When brands participate to the holy month

A few days before Ramadan and already many brands are preparing to put this month of celebration, recollection and abstinence, in the spotlight. Zara, Dior, Ikea … focus on these houses that wear echo to the holy month.

Already in 2015, the brands had taken the fold of Ramadan to grant part of their collections to the style of the Muslim religion, in the direction of the Maghreb countries and the Middle East.

Zara, Mango … These Spanish brands have then presented for a few months, new collections, limited and exclusive to celebrate with the people, this international event. For them, the objective was simple: to present “a wide range of outfits specially designed for these special nights: stylish, casual, sophisticated and neat looks“.

These collections then relied on tops adorned with stones, palazzo pants in all its forms, without forgetting the jumpsuit, flagship piece of the 2015 season and long dresses delicate, elegant, rich in details and so conducive to these summer heat.

For its part, Dior Gold Capsule rethinks its tote bags, already worn by local It-girls, but also summer favorites sandals and the famous J’Adior bracelet set.

The collection also includes dresses, skirts and T-shirts but also jackets and scarves. Enough to satisfy the taste of all women who celebrate Ramadan.

Oriental furniture in the spotlight at Ikea

The Swedish brand does not stop renewing itself. And this year is also the opportunity for her to divert its furniture to the month of Ramadan. In collaboration with Nada Debs, Ikea offers a new collection called LJUVARE.

The Lebanese designer then imagined an oriental decor to celebrate this month. A bold mix between Middle Eastern design and Scandinavian style that will create the perfect atmosphere for the home

Many products can be found in this project: floor cushions, rugs, cushion covers… Their orange and earthy hue reminds the Muslim tradition while creating a warm atmosphere for its guests.

On the decoration side, the lanterns also had their word to say. Indispensable accessories to the followers of Ramadan traditions, they will bring a touch of light to the atmosphere of spring evenings.

In short, this new collection seems to have understood everything about Muslim traditions and all the furniture is designed to reproduce the energy of oriental interiors mixed with a trendy decoration.

A holy month that will be perfectly honored by the historical brands.
