Saudi film named “Best film on gastronomy”

This is not a category of the film Oscars but the International Food Film Menu 2022, organized by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT), and rewarding the best films on gastronomy every year.

The Saudi film Let’s Go Aseer by Nora Al Rayes Production won the award for Best Gastronomy Film showing gastronomy-related tourism experiences or food products from gastronomic regions.

Let’s Go to Aseer focuses on the Aseer region of Saudi Arabia and puts the spotlight on its unique nature, rich culture, and the generosity of its people. The Aseer region has been designated as the World Culinary Region 2024 by the IGCAT.
