The Harry Potter audio book and the philosopher’s stone now available in Arabic

More than just a children’s book, it is a work that has left its mark on many generations around the world. Representatives of the Storytel application recently announced to Arabic-speaking fans of the Harry Potter universe that they could now download the Harry Potter audio book and the philosopher’s stone in Arabic.

Brace yourself Quidditch lovers from the Arab world… The Harry Potter universe opens up to the region, in audio version. The first of seven books in the saga of British author JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, is now available in its Arabic audio version on the Storytel application. A news that has something to delight Arab fans of the saga phenomenon and comes 12 weeks after Storytel revealed his collaboration with Pottermore Publishing at the International Book Fair in Cairo.

A star book, narrated by a local celebrity

The Syrian vocal doubler, Samaan Ferizali, was chosen to narrate the adventures of the young Harry Potter, in the form of 7 audio books. In addition to his prowess with the British saga, Ferizali has worked for 15 years as a dubber and presenter, and has recorded numerous books for publishing houses such as Dar Al Halabi in Morocco and Wahat Al Hekayat in Egypt.

Arabic-speaking listeners can now download the audio book and even listen to it offline on the Storytel application available on Google Play and Apple App Store.
