Two new leopard cubs born in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is celebrating the birth of these two young female Arabian leopards, born as part of its efforts to preserve this endangered species.

The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has just announced the birth of two baby Arabian leopards, an endangered species native to the Arabian Peninsula. For several years now, the RCU has been sheltering and breeding Arabian leopards, and the country has just announced the happy news, as two new births occurred last week!

Some rare representatives

Thus, two females have joined the ranks of this majestic feline. Important news when we know that today, only a handful of these magnificent animals survive in the whole Arabian Peninsula.

It is worth noting that the program managed by the Commission has resulted in the birth of 16 cubs at the Wildlife Research Center in Taif, in the West. They are joined by these two small females, which will be raised at the center, before being reintroduced into their natural habitat!
