The 5th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival opened in the Egyptian city on Thursday, and it promises a parade of stars and screenings of new films. Here are the 3 Arab films to discover!
The festival began on the hoof, with a small fire declared the day before the opening ceremony, with no major damage, but still asphyxiated a dozen people. In addition to this incident, a range of movie stars attended the opening ceremony of the festival in the seaside town of El Gouna, Egypt, this Thursday evening.
Among others, the Egyptian actresses Sheeren Reda and Yasmine Sabri, the Lebanese singer Maya Diab or the famous singer Yousra have paraded on the red carpet of the Plaza Theatre, all wearing very glamorous dresses.

Captains of Zaatari
Two young Syrian refugees, Fawzi and Mahmoud, live in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. Their talent and passion for football are quickly noticed by a coach who wants to lead them to a professional team abroad. Very quickly, the young men will have to fight all the more to pursue their dream to play football and to leave the camp.
Anas, a former rapper, decides to work in a cultural center in Casablanca. Little by little, he gives his passion for rap to the young girls of the center, who emancipate themselves a little more from the religious and cultural traditions of the country, to make their new talent come alive: rapping loudly and clearly.

Amira is the story of a 17 year-old Palestinian girl who only knows her father through the visiting room of the Israeli prison where he has been locked up for terrorism.
