Our Team
Karim Al-Mansour
Journalist and enthusiast of contemporary Arab culture, I am the founder of Kawa News. Originally from Jordan but raised between Paris and Amman, I have always wanted to build bridges between cultures and share the richness of the Arab world with a wide and curious audience.
With over 15 years of experience in international media, including Le Monde and Al Arabiya News, I launched Kawa News to create a space where culture, history, art, and society can be deeply explored. My goal is to highlight positive initiatives and foster discovery and reflection on the Middle East.
Leïla Haddad
My name is Leïla Haddad, and I joined Kawa News to share my passion for the history and heritage of the Arab world. After studying archaeology and art history at the University of Beirut, I worked on several restoration projects for historical sites in Egypt and Jordan.
Through my articles, I strive to tell the living history of iconic and lesser-known places in the Middle East. My goal is to offer readers an immersive journey into the deep roots of our culture while highlighting initiatives that preserve this unique heritage.
