During the month of Ramadan, the VTC Careem service plays the solidarity card in Dubai by delivering food donations to food banks in the United Arab Emirates.

In the spirit of the month of Ramadan, Dubai residents are traditionally invited to give food to those in need in their communities through the initiative of the United Arab Emirates Food Bank.

This year, to facilitate this donation, Careem car service collects, during the holy month, donations of fresh meals prepared at home as well as portions of takeaway meals and delivers them free of charge to the refrigerators of Emirian food banks scattered throughout the city of Dubai.

Exclusive to Dubai

Everything is to set on the app: users have to just log in, select “Food Bank” where they usually select the type of vehicle, and enter “Food Bank” as the collection point. The service is available from 11am to 5pm throughout Ramadan. However, users should ensure that their package fits into a 35x35x35x35cm space.

This is the second consecutive year the popular car service app has implemented this exceptional service during the month of Ramadan. For the moment, it is only available in Dubai city.
