Equal Arabia: Spotify promotes Arab female artists

In its Equal Arabia program, Spotify is shining a light on emerging Arab artists. Each month, the streaming platform elects a female ambassador from the Arab world and showcases her musical creations to an international audience, providing an opportunity to travel and share a rich musical heritage.

Equal Arabia has already unveiled three of the program’s must-see stars, and they’re yours to discover without delay!

1. Egyptian-Moroccan rapper Perrie

Perrie has made a name for herself by collaborating with some of Egypt’s most renowned rappers, including Abyusif and Lil Baba. Based in England, the singer already has fans on more than one continent, including Germany, the United States and Saudi Arabia! Perrie will have the opportunity to play the first godmother of the musical program while her latest song El-Sa3a 9 has just been released.

 

2. Lebanese Carole Samaha

Carole Samaha is already known as a superstar in Lebanon. For the past 20 years, the singer has been making a name for herself on the national and regional scene and has become a household name. Discovered in 2000 thanks to the award of Revelation of the Year, the artist was recognized as the Best Stage Performer in the Middle East and has been enjoying success after success!

 

3. The Egyptian Dina El-Wedidi
