Giftun consists of two main islands. Giftoun Kebir or Great Gift Oun is the westernmost island and the closest to Hurghada.
Giftoun Soraya or Little Giftun, further east, is known for being home to one of Hurghada’s main dive sites, Police Station, as well as its beautiful coral reef. The site is popular for snorkeling and diving.
