Inauguration of the International Biennial of Contemporary Art of the South in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia

More than 20 artists from 14 countries will exhibit their work in Diriyah, a suburb of Riyadh, until November 15, and then in Qasr Khuzam, Jeddah, until December 30. 

 

The exhibition, called “Echoes: a world between the analog and the virtual”, is composed of immersive works, which play with the visitors’ shadows, the echo of their voices, and the reverberations of the surrounding sounds.

 

 

Many spectators, young and old, came to Jax to admire these original and intriguing works, which give a lot of inspiration to young artists, both Saudi and international, like this Twitter user: “this exhibition gave me a lot of ideas on my drawings and my clothes designs.”
