“One of Not Many”, a mentoring program launched in Saudi Arabia by luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin

After the success of the first edition in 2020, in the United Arab Emirates, luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin announces the second installment of the “One of Not Many” mentoring program. This time it will take place in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah. This project is supervised by six Saudi women leaders and aims to train female students to become the leaders of the next generation.

A program for the emancipation of women

Vacheron Constantin decided to launch the second edition of its program in Saudi Arabia because it is in line with the kingdom’s Vision 2030 project. With “One of Not Many”, the famous watchmaker wishes to encourage young female students to realize their dreams, pursue their goals despite the obstacles and facilitate the beginning of their career path.

After a recruitment period that began on May 24, the selected students will benefit from a unique experience. Within the program, the young women are all supervised by a mentor, assigned according to their ambitions. The program is 100% female, as the mentors are Saudi women leaders, each one more inspiring than the other. This mentoring program offers the possibility of an internship at Vacheron Constantin or any other Richemont Group company.

Focus on the Saudi women leaders at the heart of this project

The mentors all have successful professional backgrounds that are the pride of Saudi Arabia. Whether they are entrepreneurs, directors, designers or strategic analysts, they all contribute to the evolution of Saudi Arabia in the following sectors: fashion, lifestyle, corporate sustainability, culture and technology. Among the six women leaders are Shahd Al Shehail, co-founder of the luxury and ethical brand Abadia, as well as Aya Al Bitar who is a furniture designer and Emon Shakoor, CEO of a visionary hub called Blossom Accelerator.

One thing is for sure, the students selected for the “One of Not Many” program are in good hands.
