Palestinian artist Saint Levant set to perform at Coachella

US-based Palestinian artist Marwan Abdelhamid, more known by his nickname Saint Levant, is set to make his debut at the popular Empire Polo Club music festival Coachella.

Known for his viral hits like “I Guess,” “Very Few Friends,” and “Nails,” Saint Levant blends Arabic, English, and French in his music; His 2022 chart-topping album “Very Few Friends” and debut EP “From Gaza, With Love” earned him global recognition fueled by social media platforms, namely TikTok. This diversity of languages is due to the artist’s diverse background. Born in Jerusalem but raised in Gaza and Amman, Saint Levant’s grandparents are Palestinian, Serbian, Algerian, and French.

On the trail of other Arab artists at Coachella

Saint Levant’s Coachella participation follows in the footsteps of recent Arab artists on the festival stage, including Elyanna (2023), Sama (2022), Wafia (2019), and French Montana with Belly (2018). Scheduled to perform on April 13 and 20, Saint Levant is set to share his unique blend of music alongside headliners such as Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Ice Spice, and French DJ Gesaffelstein.
