The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will hold its first ever motor racing event, the Saudia Ad Diriyah Formula E race, on December 13th in Ad Diriyah, in the suburbs of Riyadh.

This race is a first in a country that aims to become an important place for international sport. And the kingdom has gone even further in its opening manoeuvre: the event will see male and female riders compete against each other in a special competition, the Formula E Rookie, on December 16th.

From Saudia Ad Diriyah E-Prix to the FIA ABB Formula E championship

Among the racers, visitors will be able to see figures such as Amna Al-Qubaisi, the first female racer from the Emirates, who will be trying to take part in the official tests for the upcoming season of the FIA ABB Formula E Championship.
