Tourism: When Saudia is playing footsie with France

The national airline of Saudi Arabia, Saudia Airlines, has just organized a big seduction operation in France to promote its tourism offer.

As part of a global campaign entitled “Fly To Your Next” and with the objective of promoting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a tourist destination, Saudia Airlines organized a roadshow in Paris, France, under the patronage of the Saudi Ambassador to France.

The idea was, in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Tourism Authority, to present the Kingdom’s various travel and tourism projects, and to invite travel agencies to learn more about the country’s attractions.

Enticing projects

Several Saudi officials and delegates were present, such as Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to UNESCO. The latter was accompanied by various representatives of the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) and the futuristic city project NEOM, about which we spoke a few days ago. The event was also attended by major players in the sector such as the international group Accor Hotels.

It was also an opportunity for participants to learn about the advantages that SAUDIA offers through its “Holidays by SAUDIA” program, which provides complete packages with flights, hotel, car rental, excursions, and visits.

It should be noted that Saudi tourism is predicted to be the fastest growing in the world within the next decade by the World Travel and Tourism Council. By 2032, the travel and tourism sector’s contribution to GDP could reach nearly SAR 635 billion, which represents 17.1% of the total economy.

So, are you ready to discover this little-known country?
