What does Abu Dhabi Showdown Week have in store for you?

Next week, the capital of the United Arab Emirates will be thrilled by the concerts and exhibitions organized as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. A great comeback from summer!

From Sunday, September 1, concerts, exhibitions, and sporting events will be the daily norm in Abu Dhabi.

Sport in the spotlight

The inhabitants of the region, fond of fighting sports, should be satisfied with the holding of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC 242) meeting. In addition to the long-awaited battle that will determine who Khabib Nurmagomedov or Dustin Poirier will be the UFC Lightweight Champion (September 7), fans will also have access to training, weighing, and meetings with different athletes.

Abu Dhabi Sports & Fitness Expo, an annual event focusing on wellness and fitness, will also be held from 5 to 7 September.

An attractive line-up

There should be something for everyone. On the rock side, the emblematic American group of the Red Hot Chili Peppers – six Grammy Awards, if you’ll excuse me – will perform for the first time in the United Arab Emirates soil on September 4 at the Arena. Ticket prices range from $69 to $271.

Hip-hop fans can also look forward to Tinie Tempah’s visit to MAD Yas Island on the evening of September 6 and American rapper 2 Chainz, who will be present, following the release of his album “Rap or Go to the League”.

British soul star Jess Glynne, Colombian reggaeton monument J Balvin, or DJ Eric Morillo, are also very much expected by all music lovers in the Emirates.
