Formula E to raise awareness regarding autism in Saudi Arabia

The recent Formula E race in Saudi Arabia as part of Diriyah Season welcomed young Saudi Arabians with autism. Throughout the day, they discovered the world of shopping as part of an initiative to raise awareness of developmental disabilities.

They were accompanied by Prince Saud bin Abdul Aziz bin Farhan Al-Saud, President of the Charitable Society of Autism Families (SAF), and had the pleasure of attending the Formula E race throughout the entire day.

“We wanted to give young people with autism a chance to enjoy it like normal people, especially since the racing cars used in Formula E are silent, which is perfect for people with autism,” said Prince Saud.

Considering that autistic people constitute an important segment of society and deserve attention, the authorities in charge of the event wanted to use it to raise awareness around their needs.
