Music is in the spotlight to celebrate the new year in the Arab world

Only a few hours separate us from 2022, and to celebrate the new year, Arab countries have put the art of music in the spotlight! From Tunisia to the Emirates through Egypt, here is an overview of the musical festivities planned for the evening of December 31.

An opera concert in the heart of Tunis



The Carthage Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Tunisian conductor Hafedh Makni, joins forces with the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra to offer opera lovers a concert worthy of the name at the Municipal Theatre of Tunis, in the heart of the capital.

Two concerts are offered on January 1 from 4pm: one focused on classical Austrian works, during which the orchestras will play waltzes, polka and will be accompanied by children’s choirs, and a second concert from 7pm, which will offer this time Latin music, European, Russian, and Eastern of course!

How about a concert on the Red Sea and its long idyllic beaches? That’s what the Tolip Resort in Ain Soukhna is offering by offering a high ranking concert with the stars of the song, such as the queen of the Arab pop Nancy Ajram, accompanied by the Lebanese singer Ramy Ayach. This waterfront concert will take place from 9pm to 4am, and promises many surprises!
