Oran refurbished for the occasion

Athletes are competing in 24 disciplines, such as athletics, boxing, swimming or petanque. For the occasion, Oran has begun numerous constructions and renovations. The city is now home to three stadiums, including one that meets Olympic standards, and five sports halls. In addition, the infrastructure dedicated to transport, such as the railway station, has also been modernized.

In fact, the city of Oran, well known for its many cultural vestiges of the prehistoric, Islamic, Ottoman, Spanish and French periods, is now also an ideal destination for hosting major sporting events. And Algeria could be the winner of this great competition, since for the moment the country dominates the table of medals!
