The participation of Mohammed Ashi, a Saudi couturier, will mark the first time a designer from the Gulf has secured a place on the official calendar alongside luxury brands such as Dior, Chanel and Valentino. “This appointment is the highlight of my career. I will honor it in the memory of the great couturiers who came before me and whom I now join in the pursuit of this grand tradition of excellence in creativity and savoir-faire,” the Saudi designer wrote on Instagram following his invitation to the Fashion Week.

Moroccan fashion designer Sara Siham Chraibi made a splash with her brand Maison Sara Chraibi at the PARIS 2023 SPRING COUTURE event. Her collection reflects her personal story and the rich heritage of her country. The Moroccan designer’s runway show at this Paris Haute Couture Week is set for 5 p.m. on July 6.
